These terms cover using the Copychest app and buying Copychest Pro. They’re written to be read, not to catch you out.

Your license

A Copychest Pro license is personal: it covers one person, on up to 3 of their own computers. You can move it between machines yourself whenever you like using the deactivate button in the app. It isn’t transferable between people.

Buying for a team? One license per person. Choose the number of seats at checkout and invite each person by email; every seat carries its own license and its own three computers. If someone leaves, you can free their seat and reassign it.

What’s included

Your license includes every 1.x update to Copychest, for as long as we make them. It doesn’t promise a version 2; if one ever exists, it would be a separate product and a separate decision, never a forced upgrade.

Free tier and trials

The free tier is free forever. When a Pro trial ends, Copychest returns to the free plan: nothing you created is deleted, hidden or locked away, and your data and finished annotated images stay on your computer. Free-tier limits apply again, and reopening a saved capture to edit its annotations requires Pro.

The honest small print

Copychest is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise it will be free of bugs, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
